Hide and Find


Ages 6-7
Issues: Seperation, loss, emotional insecurity
Purpose: To create opportunities for children to experience the joy of reuniting
Materials: Favorite stuffed animal
Procedure:
Encourage the children to hide a stuffed animal somewhere in the room. Have the same child look for it and celebrate finding it. Model for them caring language and gestures they might use. Affirm each child's personal celebration
