The 100-Game

Rules

Player one starts by saying a number between 1 and 10. The next player says a number greater than the number previously mentioned that is up to 10 numbers higher. Alternate turns until one person eventually wins by saying "100."

Questions for Students:
  • Does it matter if you go first or second?
  • If your opponent says "84," what is the best choice for you?
  • If your opponent says "71," what is the best choice for you?
